Our Story

Meet Amanda

Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. Most of my fond memories are in my parents’ backyard set amongst fruit trees, mediterranean herbs and vegetables. My parents immigrated to Australia from Palestine. I grew up in a richly cultured household, where heritage and traditions were cherished and passed on to me. We drank a lot of herbal tea and our house always smelt like sage, mint and aniseed. We ate as much as possible from the garden, a mediterranean and Levantine diet. Naturally, I grew up loving nature and it's where I'm most inspired.

With a background in Food Science and Nutrition, I became more aware of the ingredients in the products we use and the food we eat. This awareness led me to appreciate the simple, natural remedies passed down through generations.
Fast forward—my husband decided to grow his hair out. That’s when we noticed a problem: his hair was shedding. A lot. It was everywhere—on his pillow, in the bathroom, all over the house. We tried store-bought products, but nothing worked without enduring terrible side effects.

After months of refining our own blends, we finally achieved a formula that did more than just target his shedding—it transformed his hair from the inside out. What was once lifeless and damaged became noticeably more resilient, healthier, and restored.

Witnessing his results, I began using the treatment on my own curls. Not only did it significantly reduce my shedding, but it also accelerated visible growth and tamed frizz.
It made my hair softer and much more manageable, and for the first time, it helped me actually love my natural hair texture.

That’s when we knew we had something truly special. What started as a personal mission to help my partner, became a calling to share it with the world.
That’s how Issa Naturale was born—starting with our first product, Hair & Scalp Oil. Made with carefully chosen, pure ingredients, it became an essential part of our hair care routine.
